We are open to all who are seeking a synagogue home. We believe in an accessible Jewish communal experience and have adopted a voluntary pledge structure to help ensure that a family's financial situation is never an obstacle to affiliation. We value diversity and inclusivity, welcoming families and individuals of all backgrounds; intermarried families, Jews of color, individuals with neuro or physical challenges, the LGBTIQA+ community - you are welcome here! Voluntary Pledge Structure

We do not want anyone who would like to be affiliated with our synagogue to be left out because of their ability to pay, so we instituted a voluntary pledge structure.

There are no dues or building fees at Congregation Shir Shalom.

Each family decides for themselves how valuable an affiliation is to them. Congregation Shir Shalom is here for you no matter what your financial contribution. Of course, we hope that everyone will give an amount that helps the family to grow, and we appreciate those who also volunteer their time and expertise to our community.
